MarketView Desktop 6.31

Changes in version 6.31

Support for Curve Series
Support for Curve Series
MarketView Desktop now supports the display of proprietary data that is using the “Curve Series” data type. That data type supports all data granularities and allows to save different versions of a time series for different dates. Curve Series symbols can be created with Enverus’ CurveBuilder and Customer DataHub solutions.

Usability Improvements for MarketScript
Usability Improvements for MarketScript
Following the introduction of company-wide MarketScript formulas earlier this year, we now have added various additional usability improvements for MarketScript.

Copying and Cutting/Pasting formulas
When copying private formulas into the company folder, the system no longer adds a “_Copy” to the name of the formula. A formula with the same name can now exist both as private and as company formula. We also improved the cutting & pasting of formulas. Formulas can now be cut & pasted from one location to another.

Preview Tab
We added a preview tab to our formula editor MarketScript Studio. If you click on a formula, it will show its code in the preview tab. On double-click, the formula will be opened in a permanent tab which will stay open until you close it.

Standard Deviation lines
Standard Deviation lines
We added the option to display lines for 2x and 3x standard deviation in the Chart window. To activate this, you need to select “show statistics” and then select the standard deviation level on the very right.

Intraday bar intervals
Intraday bar intervals
The system now supports bar intervals up to 720 min (12 hours).

Bug fixes and minor improvements

Folders in the symbol tree that include data for Platts will now show a link that will display copyright information for this data.
MarketView Desktop was crashing for certain workspace configurations that include a large amount of windows.
The “Stop Impersonation” button did not work for certain types of user names.
The mouseover popup was showing wrong environment information when hovering over the Connection Window icon.
MarketView Desktop was crashing when the user had previously opened an empty symbol tree folder and then closed and re-opened MarketView Desktop.
Symbols from Enverus’ Customer DataHub were not displayed in the MarketView search results
