MarketView Desktop 6.22

Changes in version 6.22

Opening and Closing Folders
Opening and Closing Folders
The folders of the symbol tree in MarketView Desktop will no longer auto-close when the Edit window is closed. Opened folders will stay open, even if the MarketView Desktop application is closed and re-opened. The “Collapse All Opened folders” button will close all open folders at once.

Filter Folders
Filter folders – Improved functionality
The filter results are now displayed on top of the symbol tree in a separate window. Also, “Filter Folders” is now able to search in all open folders, even if the matching folder names are on a lower folder level. It therefore now displays the full paths of the matching folders in the search results.

Curve date display – Improved functionality
Curve date display – Improved functionality (1 of 2)
We have now further improved this functionality, so that the user will see the actual curve date next to the symbol description in the window, instead of the “Latest” label.

Curve date display – Improved functionality
Curve date display – Improved functionality (2 of 2)
We have now further improved this functionality, so that the user will see the actual curve date next to the symbol description in the window, instead of the “Latest” label.

Quote window – save preferences for field selection
Quote window – save preferences for field selection
For the previous version, we had re-worked the field selection logic in the Quote window to be able to support non-price datasets. We now added a feature to save a user-specific default field selection, which will then be used as the default for every new Quote window.

Bug Fixes

History panel: MarketView was occasionally crashing when the Edit window was opened while the History window was still loading data.
Curve panel: The folder icon that allows to view and open the path for a symbol was missing in the Edit Curve window.
Quote panel: If two Quote windows were open and if the Edit window was opened for both of them then the second Edit window did not show the symbol tree.
Quote panel: If a user defined formula (UDF) was added to the quote panel, the symbol description field showed the symbol name instead of the description.
General: Exchange Code and Exchange Code name were not displayed correctly in the Symbol Details panel in the Edit window for not permissioned symbols.
General: MarketView was crashing if the Edit window was resized to minimum size and then closed and re-opened.
General: MarketView was crashing if duplicate symbols existed in a folder and if all the duplicates were selected for display.
General: If a window was converted into a stand-alone window, then selecting a pinned folder or clicking on the folder icon next to the symbol did not open the correct folder.
