MarketView ExcelTools 4.12

Major New Features

Single Sign-On
In this version we finalized the necessary changes to get the MarketView product suite ready for Single Sign-On. When Single Sign-On is activated, you will be able to log into MarketView with the same credentials that you use to log into your computer, and you won’t need to maintain and remember separate login credentials for MarketView. You will also be able to use the other Enverus products CurveBuilder and DataManager and our Sphere portal with Single Sign-On.

The symbol header row configuration was modified and now allows to de-select the display of the symbol description. The symbol description is still the default value but it can be removed and replaced by one or more meta-data fields. This configuration can either be done on a symbol-by-symbol level (red and orange boxes) or for all symbols combined (green box).

Smaller Changes and Improvements

Show items I’m not permissioned for
Show items I’m not permissioned for
If the checkbox “Show items I’m not permissioned for” is selected in any of the symbol selection windows, then the symbol tree shows folders that you are not permissioned for in grey color.
This logic is now also implemented for the “Data Provider” filter. The picklist will either show or not show not permissioned data providers, based on the selection of the checkbox.

Search in selected folders now in Curve window as well

The functionality to only search in selected/highlighted folders was now also implemented in the “Insert Curve” window:

Bug Fixes

General: We deactivated support for the TLS protocols 1.0 and 1.1.
History: If a symbol was displayed in intraday granularity and if “Records Back” was set to 1, then no data was displayed.
History: If a symbol was displayed in intraday granularity and if that symbol included gaps in the data, then MarketView was retrieving this data in an inefficient way, hence slowing down performance.
History: If multiple symbols were displayed in intraday granularity and if “Records Back” was selected for a large period of time (e.g. by setting “Records Back” to 1000), then the data was not completely retrieved.
Quote: It was possible to choose the same field twice for the Quote display if the field were selected in via drag and drop in the field selection window.
Table: If the “Update” button was pressed and if “Worksheet” was selected, the update was incorrectly initiated for the whole workbook.
Table: If the curve date was changed for a previously loaded curve, then the available tenors in the “Keys” section of the “Insert Table” window did not update based on the new curve date.
