MarketView ExcelTools 4.11

Major New Features

Single Sign-On
Single Sign-On
For this version we already added the necessary changes that will get the MarketView product suite ready for Single Sign-On. When Single Sign-On is activated, you will be able to log into MarketView with the same credentials that you use to log into your computer, and you won’t need to maintain and remember separate login credentials for MarketView.
Once that feature is officially introduced, we will reach out to you again with detailed instructions on how to enable Single Sign-On for MarketView.

Improved curve date selection for Forward Curves
Improved curve date selection for Forward Curves
We added a new feature that allows to easily select a range of curve dates for forward curves. In the new date selection window you can select an absolute range of dates (e.g. January 1st to January 20th) or a relative range of dates (e.g. “last 10 days” or “3 months ago up to 1 month ago”).

Smaller Changes and Improvements

General: If the MarketView Excel Tools session is disconnected when the same ID is used to log into any MarketView application on a different device, then re-connecting the MarketView Excel Tools session will no longer require to fully close and restart Excel.
General: The “Authentication” menu item that was introduced in version 4.10 will not be displayed unless the user has impersonation permissions or is connected to an Enverus CurveBuilder or DataManager environment.

Bug Fixes

General: The parameter “Date” was not interpreted correctly by the GvDaily formula for versions 4.6+
General: MarketView Excel Tools was requiring TLS 1.0 to be enabled to connect. This is no longer the case.
Curve: When an Excel Cell Reference was used to define the curve date and if that cells date format was not in the US date format (e.g. DD/MM/YYYY) then the curve date was not processed correctly.
Curve: If a previously saved spreadsheet with a forward curve and its curve date set to “Latest” was opened again, then no longer active tenors of the curve were not removed from the sheet.
Curve: If the “Select All” option was used in the “Insert Curve” window, then the field selection via the “Conversions” menu was not working.
Curve: If a curve was displayed and if the type was set to another field than “Price” (e.g. “Spread” or “Spread %”) then the curve date was not displayed in the header.
Options: The “Insert Moneyness” functionality was not working, and an error message was displayed.
User Defined Formulas: When User Defined Formulas (UDFs) that included two or more parameters separated by a semicolon were pasted into the MarketView symbol lookup, then the formula was not retrieved correctly.
