MarketScript Wizard

Using the MarketScript Wizard is as easy as filling out labeled text boxes.  Just select a function  and then fill out the appropriate boxes that go along with the parameters

 

1. Launch the MarketScript Wizard by clicking on the  button found below the symbol tree.

2. Select the function you want to use from the column on the left.  This will populate the parameters on the right side with the type of formula you have chosen.

3. Edit the formula name and description.

1. When giving the formula a name it must start with the @ sign.  Their can't be any spaces in the name.

2.Elaborate on the formula's name in the description, this is were you should be more detailed about the formulas purpose.

3. Select a folder from the drop down to store your formula in or create a new folder by clicking on 

4. Enter the parameters for the chosen function.

1. At the bottom of step 3 you will see a text box with the function you selected earlier.  Now chose the first symbol you would like to input into that function.  Use the +Add button to access the symbol tree and select a symbol or symbols depending on the function. 

2.  Follow the rest of the steps that vary based on the function selected.  Fill out the optional arguments to customize the formula to fit your needs. 

3. Set the decimal precision.

5. Use the test button to test the output of the formula you created.  The result will be daily historical settles.
