MarketView Desktop provides a variety of ways to display, track, and analyze real-time and historical market data as well as global news and proprietary data. Use MarketView as your all-in-one solution for managing your energy and commodity market data analytics.
The MarketView real-time Quotes interface gives you access to all of your energy publication data as it happens. When you initiate a Quote query, MarketView displays a tabular representation of the real-time streaming data for the contracts you've identified. Data is displayed in each column based on the field choices you make when you set up the query.
The MarketView Historical Data interface allows you to create historical data tables with automated data filling methods, and optional unit and currency conversion. MarketView provides historical data going back to the early 1970's for most energy data.
The MarketView Chart component allows you to create a graphical chart of historical data which will automatically update. You can select from numerous time series (intraday, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, or seasonal) and also from numerous chart types (open, high, low close, midpoint, volume, candlestick, and bar chart).
The MarketView Options component allows you to view live streaming call and put prices from futures options contracts. Setup the table to display one contract or multiple. Customize the fields and number of strike prices all to suit your needs.
View news from reliable sources like Platts, Argus, Dow Jones and many more. Chose to create a scrolling news page which updates realtime with news stories as they become available or view a fixed news page which displays one story based on the source and page number selected.
